When I rule the world!!

I have so many thoughts about things I would change or do if I ruled the world. Most of them are inventions but some would be laws. For example, on my 48 mile trip to work this morning, I thought what if cars had high powered magnets in the bumpers. The reverse polarity would keep cars behind you at a distance and keep you from tailgating cars in front of you. The way I see it, there would be no more rear-ended collisions.

Not only would this reduce your insurance rates, but the number of people out on the roads collecting beer and soda cans would be eliminated. If you drive near a can, it would attach itself to your car. Once you switched off the engine, the cans would fall to the ground. You could then recycle them and the world would be a little less cluttered.

Now I know there are some flaws to this idea. Two lane highways would be very dangerous if you did not have some sort of barrier. Maybe we could put some sort of high-tech gizmo in the middle of the road that blocks the magnetic field...this would led to manufacturing and construction jobs. hmmmmm I'll have to think about this some more...

Let's see...with one idea I have improved the economy, reduced accidents, cleaned the environment, reduced insurance premiums...VOTE FOR ME!!! After all, it is Super Tuesday!
